Terms of Service
The short version
- You pay upfront: £40.99 for a 20-second video or £75.99 for a 30-second video.
- We deliver within 48 hours of receiving your completed brief. If we miss it, you get a full refund.
- The clock pauses while we wait for you to approve the storyboard.
- One revision round is included, after delivery and outside the 48 hours.
- You must have the rights to anything you send us, and any figures or claims must be accurate.
- Once you have paid, you get full commercial rights to the final video.
1. Who we are
Morvelle, a sole trader, is a motion graphics studio based in the United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Morvelle" mean Morvelle, a sole trader. "You" means the person or business ordering a video.
You can contact us at morvellemotions@gmail.com.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply whenever you order a motion graphic video from us through this website. By sending your brief you agree to them. Please also read our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.
If you are ordering as a consumer (for yourself, not for a business), you have extra legal rights that these terms do not take away. Section 9 explains them.
3. Packages and prices
- 20-second motion graphic: £40.99
- 30-second motion graphic: £75.99
Both packages include 4K delivery in 16:9, sound design synced to the motion, one revision round and full commercial use rights. The only difference is the length of the video.
Morvelle is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. The price you see is the price you pay.
4. How ordering works
- You choose a package and send us your brief through the form on this website.
- You pay the full price upfront through our secure Shopify checkout. We fill in the email address from your brief for you. Please keep it the same, so we can match your payment to your brief.
- Our contract with you starts when we have received both your brief and your payment.
If we can't take on your project (for example, if it asks for something we can't make or wouldn't be lawful to make), we'll tell you and refund you in full.
5. The 48-hour delivery promise
We deliver your finished video within 48 hours. The clock starts when we have received your completed brief and your payment. A brief is complete when it includes everything the form marks as required. If something is missing or unclear, we'll ask you by email, and the clock starts once we have it.
The clock pauses while we wait for you to approve the storyboard. We send you a storyboard to approve before we animate. The time between sending it and receiving your approval (or requested changes) does not count towards the 48 hours.
If we don't deliver within 48 hours on this basis, you get a full refund. See our Refund Policy.
6. Revisions
One revision round is included. It happens after delivery and is not part of the 48 hours. Please send all your changes together in one message, within 14 days of delivery. A revision round covers adjustments to the delivered video (for example, timing, wording, colours or order of scenes). It does not cover a new concept, a different script or a change of length.
Further changes beyond the included round can be quoted separately if you'd like them.
7. What you are responsible for
When you send us a brief, you confirm that:
- you own, or have permission to use, every logo, image, screenshot, font, piece of music and other material you give us, and that we may use it to make your video;
- any figures, statistics, claims or testimonials you ask us to include are accurate, can be backed up, and are approved for use;
- the video, as briefed by you, will not break any law or anyone else's rights, including advertising rules.
We make the video based on what you supply. We don't check whether your claims are true, and we're not responsible for problems caused by material or claims you provided. If someone makes a claim against us because of material or information you supplied, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
8. Rights in the video
Once you have paid in full, all commercial rights in the final delivered video pass to you. You can use it however you like, including in paid ads, on social media, on your website, on YouTube and in presentations, anywhere in the world and with no time limit.
We keep the right to use the general techniques, styles and know-how we used, and any stock elements or tools we used, which may appear in other work.
Portfolio: we may show your finished video in our portfolio, showreel and social media, unless you ask us not to in your brief (or by emailing us before delivery).
9. Your legal rights as a consumer
If you are ordering as a consumer, the law gives you rights that nothing in these terms takes away. In particular, we must provide the service with reasonable care and skill. If we don't, you can ask us to put it right or, where that isn't possible, to reduce the price. For advice on your rights, contact Citizens Advice.
You also have a right to cancel within 14 days. Section 3 of our Refund Policy explains how it works, and how it changes once we start work at your request.
10. Our liability
We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. If you are a business customer, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Things outside our control
If something outside our reasonable control (such as a serious illness, a power or internet failure, or a failure of a service we rely on) stops us delivering on time, we'll tell you as soon as we can. If we then can't deliver within the 48 hours, the normal refund applies.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you send your brief is the one that applies to your order.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
If something goes wrong, please email us first at morvellemotions@gmail.com. We'll do our best to sort it out quickly and fairly.
